“Christianity and World Religions: Questions We Ask About Other Faiths”
A 7-week video course taught by Pastor Steve Wilbraham
Together we will explore major world religions and compare the beliefs of each with those of Christianity. Pastor and best-selling author Adam Hamilton helps us to address questions such as: Why are there so many different religions? How should we view their beliefs? And how can Christians build bridges with people of other religions so that we might love our neighbors and find positive ways to share the gospel of Jesus Christ?
“Then and Now: Church History for Faith Today”
A course taught by Pastor McLane Stone
In the basement of the Administration Building
What can the past teach us about today? As Christians, we are “surrounded by a cloud of witnesses” (Hebrews 12:1) that reaches back two thousand years to the earliest Christian communities. Engaging the life and times of these communities can help us to better understand our own lives and our call to faithfulness to God. Join us as we explore major moments in church history and consider their lessons for following Jesus in the 21st century.
