“Conversations on the Spiritual Life”
A course taught by Pastor Steve Wilbraham
Guided by the lives and writings of Christian writers through the ages, including C. S. Lewis, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Martin Luther, Catherine of Genoa, and St. Francis of Assisi, and instructed by Scripture, we will explore ways to grow closer to God as we discover what these believers had come to believe and practice in their Spiritual Life.
“Then and Now: Church History for Faith Today”
A course taught by Pastor McLane Stone
In the basement of the Administration Building
What can the past teach us about today? As Christians, we are “surrounded by a cloud of witnesses” (Hebrews 12:1) that reaches back two thousand years to the earliest Christian communities. Engaging the life and times of these communities can help us to better understand our own lives and our call to faithfulness to God. Join us as we explore major moments in church history and consider their lessons for following Jesus in the 21st century.
