Laureen Trail

Laureen was born and raised in eastern Michigan, moved to southern Idaho in 1980 and to Genesee in 1995. After 14 years with a wonderful Christian husband she was widowed in 2007. Laureen earned a BS in Psychology from the University of Idaho in 2004 and completed endorsements for Substance Abuse Counseling at LCSC in 2005. She retired from SA counseling in 2015. Music has always been a big part of Laureen’s life and she continues to play for services at area churches as well as participate in our church’s voice and bell choirs. “I’ve been a library kid since grade school and now enjoy the fellowship of two area book groups.” She is active in Kairos Outside and the Genesee Civic Association. Laureen became interested in working with our seniors about 6 years ago and has had the benefit of learning from both Jim McCracken and Mike Gabby. Currently, she enjoys a good partnership with Mike Holder, participating in the senior exercise group, and planning visits and events.

      Chris Browne

      Chris was raised in Moscow, ID, the son of two educators and the youngest of seven sons, all Eagle Scouts. Chris graduated from Moscow High School, the University of Idaho with a degree in accounting, and received a Juris Doctor from the University of Puget Sound School of Law. Chris has an adult son, Eric, a data analyst currently living in San Jose, CA. Chris joined Congo-Pres in 2016 and was baptized in our church on June 12th, 2016. Previously, he has served the church on the Membership and Evangelism ministry team. Chris volunteers in the community with such groups as the Lewiston Civic Theater, Habitat for Humanity and the Salvation Army. In his free time, Chris enjoys cycling, hiking, attending live sporting events and concerts, and reading mysteries.

          Mollee Dilling

          Mollee was born and raised in Clarkston, WA. She received her AA Degree from Walla Walla Community College, and her BA in Human Development, with a focus in Early Childhood Education and a Minor in Psychology, from Washington State University. She enjoys being a mother to her four children: Ellisa, Jake, Zachary, and Seth. She began her career in teaching when her kids were in school full time. She loves spending time with her family, friends, and former students, reading, going for walks, and crafting. One of her favorite things is drinking her coffee early in the morning, while spending quiet time in God’s Word. She is looking forward to seeing how God will use her in the lives of the kids at Congo-Pres.

              Mike Holder


              Mike and wife Lori joined Congregational Presbyterian Church in 2009. Mike is from the great state of Montana where he taught Advanced Mathematics and coached football for 7 years. Mike was a Certified Financial Planner for 30 years with a Bachelors of Science from Montana State University (Bozeman, MT) and a Master of Science from American College (Bryn Mawr, PA). Mike and Lori have 5 children and 13 grandchildren spread out from the Atlantic to the Pacific. Mike enjoys college football, particularly Bobcat/Grizzly games, visiting with people, and outdoor activities.

                  Lisa Huddleston


                  Lisa was born and raised in Lewiston. She graduated from Lewiston High School and Lewis Clark State College with a degree in Business Administration. Lisa has two grown sons, Richard, a letter carrier in Lewiston, and Christopher, who is retired from the US Army; and, 3 grandchildren: Alex, Izabella and Mara. She has been active in the community volunteering with many organizations including Twin County United Way, St. Joe’s Family Hospice and Lewis Clark State College. Lisa loves reading, watching old movies and spending time with her family.

                      Rich Goodwin


                      Rich grew up in Cheney, Washington where he earned his Bachelor and Master of Education, and received his Principal’s credentials at Washington State University. He taught and coached wrestling at Selkirk Junior-Senior High School in Ione, Washington for twelve years, K-12 Principal at Pomeroy for six years, and Junior-Senior High Principal at Asotin for twelve years. He served as Executive Director of the Lewiston-Clarkston Habitat for Humanity for 10 years, and State Board Chair for Habitat for Humanity of Idaho for 3 years. Rich joined Congo-Pres, along with his wife, Carrie Gurgel, twenty years ago. He has served at the church as the Mission and Community Outreach Chair, Board Nominating Committee, Strategic Planning Committee, and most recently as the Co-Chair of the Associate Pastor Nominating Committee. Rich has two grow children, Rick and Tina, five grown step-children, Jason, Mat, Jolene, Jesse and Danelle, sixteen grandchildren, and five great-grandsons. He enjoys carpentry, metalworking, collecting coins, genealogy, hiking and camping, fly fishing and fly tying.

                          Anna Bruce


                          Anna was born and raised in Kendrick, Idaho and is the mother of three beautiful children. Living in Kendrick, Anna has been an active supporter of the schools, church, and community.  With the schools she has been an instructional assistant for special education and a member of the Parent Teacher Organization. Anna served her church as a Sunday School teacher and has been an active member of the women’s group.  In the community she owned and operated the community’s primary daycare and served on the City Council.  In her free time she enjoys her children, travels, and sends cards to her family and friends for every event… and sometimes for no reason at all.

                              Beth Katzenberger


                              Beth was born and raised in Moscow, Idaho and was very active in Moscow First Presbyterian Church during her younger years. Beth moved to Lewiston and married Derek, and they have a son, Ryan. Beth has worshiped and worked at our church since 1993 in music ministry and considers this church community to be her second family. With all the nature opportunities the Lewis Clark Valley and surrounding area has to offer, Beth enjoys spending time with family and friends in God’s creation.
